Regulatory perimeter

The firm acquires non-performing commercial debt between UK businesses on its own account and as principal. This activity falls outside the consumer-credit regime under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and outside the perimeter of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 for the purchase of receivables that are not securities.

The firm is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority or the Prudential Regulation Authority and does not hold itself out as a bank, building society, or authorised consumer-credit firm.
